ZimUzo Foundation

The phrase Zim Uzo in the Igbo language means show me the way.

The ZimUzo Foundation is about empowering people who are disadvantaged to take control of their lives and destiny, by providing working age people with the means to acquire IT training that will enable them to support themselves and their families and ultimately contribute to the development and growth of their communities. ZimUzo provides vocation education and training in IT to people in the United States, who are unemployed, underemployed, or entering the workforce for the first time but do not have the proper skills or guidance to succeed in the workforce.

ZimUzo also provides resources to teach indigent elementary and high school students computer skills, helps indigent students with small grants to pay for tuition and educational materials, and funds the repairs of crumbling and unsafe school buildings in developing countries. Though completely funded by the founders, ZimUzo is a 501(c)(3) organization and can partner with individuals and organizations to advance its cause. ZimUzo is a member of the United Nations Ambassadors of Sustainable Development Goals Network and recognized by the Global Peace Chain as a Global Peace Ambassador, advacing world peace by furthering the United Nations sustainability development goals, through quality education, good health and wellbeing, clean water and sanitation.
